In December 27, 2015, the national business conference was held in Beijing. Gao Hucheng, Minister of Commerce, pointed out in his work report that in 2015, the total retail sales of consumer goods in China were expected to reach 30 trillion yuan (the same below), ranking second in the world, of which retail sales of the network were expected to reach 4 trillion, ranking first in the world.

As China's regional economic development is extremely uneven, the e-commerce market has been developing rapidly in China, according to data from several investment banks in 2014.

Electronic Commerce

It accounts for second of the total retail sales of consumer goods in the world. It is the most developed after e-commerce. The United Kingdom, with ASOS, Net-a-Porter and many other well-known e-commerce providers, surpasses the US, which has the same Amazon.com and eBay.com, and the three countries mentioned above.

The ratios were 11%, 12% and 10% respectively.

If China's online retail sales reached 4 trillion in 2015, it will account for 13% of the total retail sales of consumer goods in China, or retail sales will become the number one in the world. The proportion of retail sales will exceed the UK's top 30 trillion in the world.

It shows that in 1-11 months, 1-11 months in 2015, the total retail sales of social consumer goods totaled 272296 billion yuan, an increase of 10.6% over the same period last year. In 1-11 months, the retail sales volume of the whole country was 34526 billion yuan, up 34.5% over the same period last year.

Among them, online retail sales of physical commodities increased by 28869 yuan, an increase of 33%; and online retail sales of non physical commodities increased by 565 billion 700 million yuan, an increase of 42.9%.

In online retail sales of physical commodities, food, clothing and commodities increased by 41.7%, 23.5% and 36.9% respectively.

According to the above data, China's network retail sales account for about 12.68% of the total retail sales of social consumer goods in 1-11 months.
